Hearty fare from the galley
Indonesian rice dishes, mixed meat platter with garden vegetables and boiled potatoes, homemade pizza with three toppings, egg pancakes with fresh fruit salad, crispy chicken legs with salad variations and roast potatoes, and, upon special request, traditional Corsican Bouillabaisse made from self-caught fish. Aboard the MS Galiote, we go to great lengths to ensure that you will delight in the freshly prepared cuisine.
Just sit back and let the ship’s cook Rüdiger Wächter, Roo for short, spoil you every day with a delicious and substantial lunch and evening meal. Straightforward, hearty fare one day, fine Mediterranean cuisine the next, and the occasional culinary excursion into the realms of the far east. Over a period of many years, Roo’s cooking has become something of a legend with our regular guests – so he nearly always has a second helping standing by!
Before the evening meal, everyone meets up on the foredeck for an apéritif. It’s the perfect setting to talk about the day’s diving over a pastis, Campari or gin and tonic against the backdrop of a glorious sunset.
