The MS Galiote is fully equipped to meet all the needs of the diver. There are enough 12 and 15 litre cylinders (International and DIN – single and double pillar valves) and complete weight belts for everybody.
We offer equipment hire for items such as BCDs, regulators (with contents gauge and inflator hose), suits, torches and computers. You only have to bring your mask, snorkel, fins and a MEDICAL CERTIFICATE to attest that you are fit for recreational scuba diving (no more than 2 years old).
Before each dive, Günther will give you a short briefing with information on the dive site including currents and maximum depth. He normally leads a dive group for the whole dive – so beginners, too, can take part in almost every excursion into the underwater world. Experienced divers are, of course, free to conduct their own dives.
Depending on the wishes of the group, and their ability and level of experience, VIT*** Instructor Günther Hayer can offer both easier no-decompression dives and more demanding dives. There is usually one dive in the morning and one in the afternoon. A night dive can be done almost every evening, and they have proven to be very popular.
