You can get there by car by driving through Switzerland into Italy where there are car ferries sailing to Bastia out of Savona, Livorno and Genoa. Alternatively, you might want to drive through France to Marseilles, Nice or Toulon to get one of the car ferries to Bastia or Ajaccio.
It takes around 2 hours to drive from Bastia to Bonifacio along the east coast route. Once there, for a small fee, you can park your car safely for the duration of the cruise on private land owned by a Corsican friend.
